FC sends stage IV cancer fighter, Steve Dumalski, and his 2 sons to the famous Pebble Beach Golf Resort in Pebble Beach, CA for a special weekend of golf, quality time, and lasting memories.
“Just to spend four days together with both of my sons was a real treat, but to be able to play those courses with them was something I’ll never forget. The suite at the Inn at Spanish Bay with an ocean view was fantastic and to walk right outside the room and experience the famous afternoon bagpipes was a bit of all right!
I never in my wildest dreams thought I would have the chance to play golf at Spyglass Hill, Spanish Bay and Pebble Beach, much less with both of my sons. I still can’t talk about it without getting emotional. Playing with a caddie for the first time was almost too much for me, but I will say, I could get used to it. When I marked my ball on the first green and tossed it to him to clean for me, I thought I’d died and gone to heaven. At the end of the round, John and I were hugging and crying on each other’s shoulders.
Everybody knows that positive thoughts and laughter are the best medicines, and last weekend I received enough doses to last a long, long time. With that and the number of angels that are praying for me, this disease doesn’t stand a chance.” -Steve Dumalski
