February is National Cancer Prevention Month and you can help show your support by participating in our annual #FxckCancerFebruary promotion and fundraising drive. The money you help raise will directly benefit the F C Cancer Foundation and help fulfill the Fuck Cancer mission.
Held only during the month of February, our top fundraiser, along with their guest, will be invited to join us at the 2019 Welcome to Rockville Music Festival, taking place May 3-5, 2019 in Jacksonville, Florida. All expenses paid by our sponsors!
You can raise money in one of two easy ways:
1. Fxck Cancer’s Facebook Page – Go to our Facebook page and click Create a Fundraiser. Then, select your fundraising goal and set February 28, 2019 as the fundraising end date. Write a story about why you are raising money for cancer awareness and recognizing those who are dealing with this awful disease. Then, share your fundraising page, so all your Facebook connections can make donations. Return back to the Fxck Cancer Facebook page to see how progress is going with your campaign.
2. Fxck Cancer Fundraising CrowdChange – Go to our CrowdChange fundraising page located at, https://fxckcancer.crowdchange.co and click Start a Fundraiser. Type the name of your fundraiser – we suggest using your name, followed by #FxckCancerFebruary (e.g. John or Jane Doe’s #FxckCancerFebruary). Set the start date for today, then the end date as 11:59pm on February 28, 2018. Write your story and add a photo or video. You don’t need tickets or sponsors to enable fundraising pages. If you have any questions or encounter an error, send us an email at info@fccancerfoundation.org and we’ll help make changes and even give you a couple fundraising pointers. You can promote your fundraising page through social media, email, and more.
Every dollar raised through our #FxckCancerFebruary Fundraising Campaign goes to our two programs:
Fuck Cancer raises awareness and educates about prevention and early detection. Our goal is to save lives by putting an end to late stage cancer diagnosis.
Through our National Awareness Tour, we travel across the United States waving the Fxck Cancer flag and shouting Fuck Cancer at the top of our lungs! We put ourselves in front of close to 1 million people every year by activating our Awareness Booth at music festivals across the country. Our primary focus being cancer awareness, education about prevention & detection, community support, fundraising, and executing our Dyin 2 Live Dreams program.
But we aren’t done yet. At every stop of our Awareness Tour, 100% of the proceeds from our fundraising efforts are given back to the local community in the form of a donation to the Oncology programs at the local children’s hospital.
Implemented in 2011, Dyin 2 Live Dreams is a wish-granting program committed to helping those who are currently in the fight against cancer by giving them a one-of-a-kind “VIP Experience” that may be a source of hope, joy, and inspiration while they continue in their fight against these terrible diseases. Through our extensive network of friends, supporters, and partners, we put together our VIP Experiences, focusing on select music festivals, concerts, and sporting events throughout the year. We take our Dyin 2 Live Dreams recipients backstage and behind the scenes at these events to meet their favorite bands, artists, athletes, and celebrities. Meet-and-greets, signings, watching their favorite bands side stage, backstage access, media interviews, photo ops, and more are all apart of the VIP Experience! Our Dyin 2 Live Dreams recipients walk away from the experience with the will and determination to continue in their fight against cancer. We want to show them that life is worth fighting for and that no one fights alone.
