Through our Dyin 2 Live Dreams program, we took 3 families with children receiving treatment at CHOC Children’s, to the Angels baseball game in a fully catered premium suite to enjoy a night together at the Angels Stadium in Anaheim, CA. Each family received their own limousine; Angels fan gear, gift bags, an on field experience, fireworks show, and more! It was a night full of laughs and smiles while rooting for their favorite team.
Special thanks goes out to our sponsor for the evening, the Orange County American Pool Players Association (APA), for putting together the “Annual Carol’s Cup Memorial Benefit Tournament” which helped fund this amazing experience. The OC APA is owned and operated by Vicki Wirth who lost her mother, Carol Wade, to colon cancer in September 2016. Vicki has joined the fight against cancer by taking action and putting on this annual tournament in memory of her mother to benefit the F C Cancer Foundation and it’s programs.
